Work on an ongoing natural gas main construction project on Lime Street in the City of Lancaster will be expanded to include Saturday hours beginning July 25.Construction is taking place on the first block of South Lime Street and will continue north to the 1000 block of North Lime Street.This work is scheduled from Monday through Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Saturday work will focus on renewing customer service lines.The Lime Street project is expected to continue until the Thanksgiving weekend.Residents and motorists should expect lane restrictions during construction hours. Parking will be restricted in the construction area as well. Flaggers will be on duty during construction hours for traffic and pedestrian safety.
